The International Conference of Advances in Applied Sciences (ICOAPS 2021)
The conference will be organized by the Yemeni Scientists Research Group (YSRG) and Hadramout University.
The conference is a forum for the presentation of technological advances in the field of Applied Sciences. It will cover several research tracks including Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Physics and Applied Physics, Chemistry and Applied Chemistry and Biology and Applied Biology.
The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. • Worked as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Lübeck, Germany (2012-2013)
• Holds a Ph.D in Pure Mathematics, Cairo University in 2008
• Has more than 30 papers in WoS ranked journals
• Holds a fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in 2013
• Referee for a number of scientific journals
• Received a number of funded invitations from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for research works at the Institute of Mathematics, University of Lübeck (2011-2015-2017-2019).
• He supervised a number of scientific theses.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Nasser
Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, Qatar University, Qatar
Dr. Mohamed M.S. Nasser is a professor of Mathematics at Qatar University. He received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Baghdad University, Iraq, in 1999, and received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from UTM, Malaysia, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. From 2005 until 2009, he was an assistant professor at Ibb University, Yemen. In 2009, he joined King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia, as an assistant professor from 2009 to 2011 and as an associate professor from 2011 until August 2015 when he was promoted to full professor. Prof. Nasser joined the department of mathematics, statistics and physics at Qatar University in September 2015. His research interests are on applied and computational complex analysis.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zaiton Abdul Majid
Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia
Dr Zaiton Abdul Majid is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She obtained her BSc and MSc in Chemistry from Western Illinois University, USA and PhD in Environmental Engineering from Universiti Malaya. She is currently the Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation, Development and Alumni) of Faculty of Science and an Associate of ASM since 2018. Her research focuses on 2 main areas of waste utilization, i.e. i) development of sorbents from waste, specifically focusing on separation-sorption technology and ii) utilization of waste as cement additives, particularly focusing on cement hydration reactions. She was awarded several national research grants, and research projects funded by the local waterworks department. She is an Associate Member of Academy of Sciences, Malaysia since 2018, member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, ANALIS, and American Chemical Society. She was one of the four recipients, and the first from Asia, of the Lise Meitner Guest Professorship Award, Lund University, Sweden (2012 – 2014). She is actively involved in STEM programs at the national level, for the community especially schools and preschools.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasser Alajerami
Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Al-Azhar University-Gaza, Palestine
Yasser S. Alajerami PhD is assistant professor of Radiation Protection and Dose Measurements from UTM-Malaysia. This is his 18th year in academic teaching at different worldwide universities and his 10th year a researcher at radiation and medical imaging discipline. Yasser got good experience in radiation protection labs dosimeter fabrications and preparing shielding materials. Also, He has expertise in advanced techniques, simulation and radiotherapy. He got different postdoctoral fellowships like MIS and Fulbright. Until now, he published over 60 research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Yasser awarded from different national and international institute such as Ministry of higher education in Malaysia, Ministry of Health in Palestine and QNBI from Ohio University in USA.
